Overview
Application & construction
For exposed or concealed wiring in wet or dry locations. For use in ventilated, non-ventilated and ladder type cable troughs and ventilated flexible cableway in wet or dry locations. Sunlight resistant. Typical installations include food processing plants, commercial centers, mines, generating stations, refineries, industrial plants and chemical plants.
Structure
- Conductor — Annealed stranded bare copper wires, class B
- Insulation — Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) Type RW90 — black, white for 2 conductors; black, red, blue for 3 conductors; black, red, blue, white for 4 conductors
- Bonding conductor — Annealed bare copper wires, class B
- Inner jacket — Flame-retardant and moisture resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
- Armour — Aluminum Interlock Armour (AIA); steel tape as the option
- Outer jacket — Low-temperature, moisture and sunlight resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), black
