Overview
Application & construction
RPVU90 and RPV90 cables may be installed indoors or outdoors, in raceways and conduits, both above and below ground. RPVU90 can be used in direct burial installations. Installation must comply with CE Code Rules 12-012 and 4-004. They are 90°C, 2 kV rated and suitable for use in a photovoltaic system. Type RPVU90 is for use on the DC and AC side of a photovoltaic system, suitable for installation in both wet and dry locations, and may be exposed to sunlight. Type RPV90 is for use on the DC and AC side of a photovoltaic system, suitable for installation in dry locations, and may be exposed to sunlight.
Structure
- Conductor — Stranded AA-8000 aluminum conductor, 6 AWG to 1000 kcmil, or solid or stranded copper conductor, 14 AWG to 1000 kcmil
- Insulation — Heat and moisture resistant, low temperature Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
